Sketch Challenge 255

Here is the sketch for this week's "Sketch Challenge"

I needed a card to send to my aunt who just found out she's going to be a grandma! I'm very excited for her and thought this week's sketch challenge would provide the perfect template to work from. I find baby cards the hardest to make - especially if they need to be gender neutral! I gave it my best shot and hope she enjoys the results!

Mojo Monday is here again! Okay - so it's here and now it's gone!
Here are my Mojo Monday cards. I have used up my Sympathy cards (which actually makes me very sad) and so decided to make a new one up. Wedding cards are always fun to make and have on hand.
Here's the Mojo Monday week 113 sketch!

Sketch Challenge 254

Happy Sunday!
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. I finished up my "Sketch Challenge" card a few days ago and am finally sitting down to post. I like Roxie's sketch again this week. You'll see though that I rotated the card since I couldn't get it to work the other way. I need a few more Christmas cards so thought I would use this challenge to complete the collection!

Thanks for looking!

Flight of the Butterfly

As mentioned in the post below I purchased the Stampin' Up! "Flight of the Butterfly" stamp set. I've seen lots of people making cards using it and since I love butterflies I thought I would give it a whirl. I have be playing with it and really enjoy it.

I also have been using the "Cottage Wall" DSP and really enjoy the colour combination.

I hope you like my most recent creations! Hopefully more to come in the next few days!

Mojo 112

Okay so I figure getting the Mojo Monday card out a few days late is better than nothing! I got a new stamp set the other week - Flight of the Butterfly. I really enjoy it and have been playing with it for a few days! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Here is this week's sketch!

And the final product!

SC253 - A little late!

Sorry for not getting any posts up in the last week. My husband and I were away for the weekend and I've been fighting off a cold. This is last week's Sketch Challenge card. I am currently working on this week's challenge card and will have it up later this week!
I must admit I love flowers and butterflies so this card is a fav of mine! I do love the Garden Greetings stamp set - though not in the current Stampin' Up! catalogue, it is still on the dormant list and available for order.

I found this sketch a little more challenging. I guess I have a hard time thinking outside the box...those triangles threw me for a loop!
Here's the finished product:

Stamps: Garden Greetings, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Orchid Opulence
Paper: Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Whisper White, Cottage Wall DSP, A light purple who's name escapes me!
Accessories: Butterfly punch, jewels, glitter

Mojo 111 - Get Well Soon

This week's sketch looks easy but I don't have a lot of "big" stamps to fill the space up. I fell back on one of my all time favourites - my tea pots! I don't have any "Get Well Soon" cards on hand and know so many people that are sick right now.
The card came together pretty quickly - not one of my best but I like it and hope it would cheer someone up!

Paper: Old Olive, Real Red, Basic Gray, Whisper White, Patterned Paper (Chatterbox)
Ink: Old Olive, Real Red
Stamps: Tea for Two (I forget the name...)
Accessories: Flowers, Brad, jewels
Have you tried the Mojo Monday sketch yet? It's fun and a great way to get some cards made in a hurry!
